Like other reviews warm friendly. Staff welcoming and helpful. Great value for money. Breakfast took me back to my childhood as the only way a fried egg should be is as per my grandmother. Soft yolk with a nice crispy brown doilly on the edge! Brilliant! Will return next time up north.

Lovely little hotel and pub. Rooms very small but clean and adequate for just an overnight stay. Locals in the bar very friendly along with staff who were very friendly and welcoming. Would need a much bigger room if taking our little one with us.

We stayed here for three nights in August. Check in was good, the staff and owners are really friendly and helpful. They showed us to our rooms and even explained how the locks work.
