Finding a lovely, serene, exceptional place like this makes travelling worth it. This Georgian house is really nice. Our room was stunning. Dinner is a three hour marathon, and not cheap at 65 quid, but the food is exquisite. This kind of eating in Scotland is a rarity. Nice wine list more

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this little treasure. The whole place has the feel of a rather grand family home, intimate, luxurious but idiosyncratic.
