We were glad we ignored some less than favourable tripadvisor reports and booked our week end at the Lovat. It was ideally positioned for city, had free parking and good transport links. Our room was a good size,clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant ,helpful and friendly. We could not believe what good value the dinner prices were. A lovely three course dinner for two with a free bottle of nice wine for £31.00 for two .I don't know how they make it pay ! Perhaps because of the many people who were enjoying it. We will certainly return. more
