Having previously stayed at this hotel we just booked again without checking up to date reviews. On reading some of the current reviews we were a bit wary and having recommended the hotel for one our friends for the same stay began to panic. No need our friend arrived at 6.00am, asked if he could have an early check in!- no problem-... more

After reading other reviews, I was a little doubtful about booking this hotel. However, I was really wanting a hotel in Perth with a swimming pool and as this was the only one, I decided to take the risk. I am glad I did. I booked a B&B deal for only £75 for 2 people in a twin room. Although... more

The hotel is dying to be upgraded as the rooms are not up to standard and the staff should be taking a customer services course, they should have a customer focused duty manager who can communicate with the customers and understand their needs. I found him unintelligant, has no skill for the post. And unless they change their customer service... more

My Wife and I recentlyt visited Perth for a short break with our disabled daughter, when we made the reservation we thought we would have 2 rooms together, however when we arrived, they were close ie 413,414, but alas, not together, enter the young english deputy manager Mark, this guy was amazing, we were moved to 2 rooms on the... more

Have just returned from a one night stay at the Queens Hotel. We booked a competitive DBB deal through the hotel website at a cost of £65 per couple. The hotel is rather dated throughout, particularly the ensuites; however, when it comes to the food things go horribly wrong! When we sat down, we were two of only five people... more

We booked a DBB stay at this hotel and the only good thing about the hotel was the evening meals and 5% of the staff. The majority of the staff had no personality and acted like robots. Our room was not ready at 1630 yet you can apparently check in from 1500hrs. The room was small dull and dingy, really... more

I'm normally pretty easy to please, but this place was pretty dumpy. The room was very small and cramped, and stuffed with tacky old furniture. The bed was lumpy. Bathroom was okay. It's an old hotel, and it shows. Definitely run down. If you need a place to crash, it's okay... but the Queens Hotel is not a destination place.... more

Stayed here for 2 nights over the weeekend. I was looking forward to it because there was a swimming pool. We're usally easily pleased but the least we expect is a clean hotel - doesn't seem much to ask. Downside of the hotel: 80's decor Very hot and stuffy room at night Cracked dirty sink Dirty shower head Husband got... more

Getting a room anywhere comutable to Edinburgh during the festival period is all but impossible. Be something short of a miricle a room became free at the Queen's Perth just 10 days before we needed to be in centre of Perth near the railway station. It did just what we needed a place to clean up, stroll into town and... more
