Helpful staff gave good service. The hotel was attractive and well situated, near to city centre with adequate car parking. Breakfast was excellent (omelet cooked freshly, not a microwave job), although not available until 7,30, which is a wee bit late for business travel. I can't comment on dinner. The menu looked good, but sadly was outside my employers limits... more

I stayed here for one week in October 2009, while in Perth with my work. I have tried many hotels in Perth (see my other reviews) and always been very disappointed but the Parklands is an absolute find! The Hotel is more like a B&B as it is small but that adds an 'exclusive' feel. There are not many staff... more

While touring Scotland, my friend and I selected ParklandsHotel as it appeared to have a perfect location. We weren't disappointed..... An easy stroll to the railway station and the town centre made it ideal. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the receptioist and shown to our room. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a nice homely feel.... more

We arrived early and as expected we could not check in straight away. We left our luggage and returned two hours later as requested, but still our room wasn’t ready - “we’ve been terribly busy” the receptionist told us apologetically. Our three night stay - arrived Sunday and departed Wednesday - thus started with us in a bad mood. I... more

Stayed at the Parklands for our Perthshire section of our trip, great place to stay and wonderful food in No 1 The bank restaurant where we ate 1 night of the 3. Superior room overlooking the Garden and Park was great on the Autumn sun and the breakfast each day was a real feast. 5 minutes walk into town for... more

We stayed here for one night on the way further up north to kinloch rannoch - just to break up the journey a little. While the hotel itself is very charming, one reason I picked it was for the 2 AA rosettes it boasts for food. While the food was decent quality, I must say we were a little underwhelmed... more

Stayed here for one night while our Daughter was nearby with her school. We had booked an executive room. The hotel itself is quiet modern and very well run. The staff are professional and polite. There is ample private parking and the hotel is situated 5 mins walk from the city centre just down from Perth Railway Station. Room was... more

We found this hotel after reading many positive reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. The room we stayed in had a terrific view over the outisde seating area and had views onto the park beyond. The bathroom was huge! Double sinks, a jacuzzi bath (which unfortunatley did not work) and a seperate shower. A short stroll through the hotel... more

We accommodated some overspill from a family event and they were very happy indeed with the rooms which I had picked, the hotel staff and the breakfasts provided giving it 5 out of 5. They had a terrace that was excellent for a drink in the afternoon or prior to dinner. We also had a dinner for 10 of us... more

stayed here for one night. Room very small, small double bed but huge bathroom. Very strangely decorated with old fashioned dark furniture and other very modern touches. Nothing matched, looked as though it had been thrown together by someone with no taste whatsoever. Also for a 4 star hotel would have expected tea/coffee making facilities which would have been much... more
