All in all a positive experience. Friendly reception, spacious room with comfortable bed. Nice modern bathroom. And an affordable price! The B&B is situated in a quiet spot on the edge of town. The road leading towards it is however in very bad condition. More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. We were greeted by Jill who showed us to our room, which was large and very comfortable and located on the base of the building. Everything you needed was there. The view from the room was breathtaking. If there was anything we needed, all we had to do was ring the bell... More

We stayed there for two days, occupying the only two rooms this B&B has. The building has been clearly designed for a B&B. The guests never go upstairs, where the owners live, but enter the rooms -which are on the base of the building- going through their door-windows. The rooms are distributed in a very logical way. They are separated,... More

Just stayed for 2 nights and the rooms are beautiful - at the back of the house, overlooking a wonderful and dramatic wooded landscape - with no other buildings in view. Large rooms with luxurious bathrooms, well furnished with good modern decor. Good breakfasts with plenty of choice and a nice friendly host with plenty of helpful advice if needed.... More

The two guest rooms are separate from the main house, being on a lower level and reached by a sloping gravel path. Lovely views of the garden, trees and hills with big patio doors as the entrance. Decor is unfussy and modern and all was very clean, the bathroom/shower room was a good size and had a wonderfully powerful shower.... More

We can only recommend this B&B. The above mentioned rates are an understatement. Jilly (the lady who ownes and runs the place) is a lovely and incredible serviceminded person. Every morning we got the most delicious breakfast and some hints what to do nearby. The perfect location to make excursions in the near surroundings or you can just relax and... More

We stayed here with my in-laws and booked the 2 rooms at Rowanlea for a 3 night stay in Aug 10. The B&B is located in a quiet and picturesque part of Pitlochry with a wonderful view from the rooms. The layout was ideal for us as the breakfast room is situated between the 2 rooms each having their own... More

We stayed here for a long weekend last month and the room was lovely. Huge and very well equipped - dvd player, own access to the garden (where we saw a deer one night!) and fantastic walk in wet room. Gorgeous gardens, peaceful and yet only a five minute walk into town. A fantastic b&b - more like a boutique... More
