murder mystery weekend..... went in a company of 6. had a wonderful time. rooms were full of character , very comfortable and clean. we found the staff friendly and the food very good. wonderful log fires throughout the hotel, lovely and relaxing. would certainly return and recommend this lovely hotel. more

Great location for a retreat however the hotel rooms need urgent refurbishment as the quality and standard is somthing out of the 70'S. On the plus side the staff are very friendly and the evening meal in the restaurant was superb. Breakfast was a let down! more
