This was a lovely stay from the moment that we were welcomed into the house. Ann and Alf saw to every detail of our stay and accommodated our every need. I especially appreciated the wonderful dinner recommendation. The rooms are large, bright and well appointed and the dining room has a lovely view down the hill to Pitlochry. more
Although this says it is B&B, it is really more of a small hotel which does not provide an evening meal. Our room was beautiful, with a huge ensuite bathroom. Everything one could wish for was provided, even a Kitkat. When we came back from the theatre on the first evening, the room had been tidied, and the jumble of... more
I've just clicked on this website to tell you about this gem of a property, - having visited here twice in the space of two weeks on a tour of Scotland with friends, we all voted this the n° 1 bed and breakfast in Scotland - not just for this specific area!. We opted for the superior rooms and were... more
I have stayed several times at Ann and Alf's wonderful B&B and it is consistently the best place I've stayed in the UK, across the board. A very rare blend of warm, relaxed and friendly yet discreet hospitality, good knowledge of the area and useful pointers for places to go and things to see, the most wonderfully presented rooms, plus... more
This B&B is simply outstanding. We stayed with friends over the weekend of the Etape, a cycling event around Pitlochry. The event started at 7am, so Alf laid on a early breakfast for the cyclist's with a later breakfast for their partners. Alf and I'm sure Ann helped, cleared out his garage so the bikes could be stored. He then... more
After sending my parents here on a short break for their Xmas present (and listening to their rave reviews), we decided to head up for our anniversary, a rare break from the kids! Right from the moment we stepped into this classy B & B we knew we would enjoy ourselves - first impressions count! It honestly felt more like... more
Just returned from our latest visit to Beinn Bhracaigh - only this time to Ann and Alf's new premises in town. They have totally transformed this extablishment giving it their own high quality treatment. From the moment you walk in it has a lovely relaxed calming feel. Bedrooms and bathrooms have been refurbished to a fantastic standard. No chinz or... more
Let Ann and Alf welcome you into their wonderful home and you'll have the chance to enjoy the warmth radiating through this B&B. We enjoyed the beautiful and relaxing decor (it's just like the pictures on their website); the spectacular view (from both our bedroom and the garden); the hearty breakfasts (try the delicious black pudding); and the friendship bar... more
We stayed at this property for the second time in May this year for the Etape Caledonia cycling event . The owners, Ann and Alf, take the B&B experience to new levels. Hospitality beyond compare....needless to say we have already booked up for next year!! Exceptionally high quality accommodation - the breakfasts are top class too. more
