This huge manor house is budget price but great value ... near pitlochry which is a quaint village, and near the castle of Blair Athol and distillery of the same name. This hotel was quite nice. It had a lovely lobby and bar. The rooms were spacious and clean. We faced the street and we heard no noise whatsoever. We happened to order pub food from the Atholl Arms Hotel. It was absolutely disgusting. We left the lot for fear of food poisoning. The food offered was not for a dog. We couldn't be bothered to complain and simply left. The mince and tatties was obviously from a tin. The steak stale, I could go on. Food like this... more
