We have just returned from a 3 night break at the Bowfield and had a great time. However we had mixed feelings about the stay. The good bits were very good, but felt it was inconsistant. Have stayed here a couple of times, reccommended by family. Some parts of the hotel are rather dated but we could quite happily put up with that as the leisure facilities are excellent and the local area is great for venturing out and about.
