My sister and I, along with our dog, spent 7 nights here last week. When we arrived we were greeted by Ann and Graeme who made us feel so welcome that we felt we had know them for a while, not just met them. We were shown up to our lovely clean en-suite room which had everything we needed in... More

This is a really brilliant bed and breakfast. Not only is it exceptional value for money, the proprietors go beyond the the norm to make you feel at home and present you with everything you need for a first class stay. The breakfast is truly very good; I can not recommend it too much. A lovely B+B, in a great... More

Spent 4 nights there, with family. Both rooms were spotless, well decorated, good size and soooo comfortable. It felt warm and cosy. It is just a few minutes walk from the bus station, the train station and all the local shops. We had a very nice time. I would recommend it to everyone!

As I said to Ann & Graeme when we left it was like stay with your aunt and uncle for the week!! The day of our arrival in Ayr was my birthday and we wanted to go somewhere nice for dinner so I emailed ahead to Chalmers to ask for some advice. Graeme came back very quickly and recommended some... More

Have stayed at Chalmers before on Business and just as friendly as before. Great location just 10 mins walk from the town centre and seafront and close to pubs and restaurants. Just a great B&B. Wonderful hospitality, great breakfast and comfy room. The room is so clean with lovely soft towels. Hosts can't be more helpful.

Stopped off for one nights stay at Chalmers. Very nice B&B. the hosts were really nice, the rooms were spotless and the breakfast was lovely. They recommended a restaurant to go and eat with a 10% discount. The meal, price and service were excellant. Would recommend you stay if you are in Ayr.

We were a group of six New Zealanders who stayed with Ann in May. THe rooms were spotless clean and very comfortable. Ann was a perfect host who gave us plenty of recommendations of places to visit and places to have a meal. The breakfast could not be faulted. We would recommend this B & B as one of the... More

Great place to base ourselves overnight, whilst attending a wedding reception at the 'Brigodoon'. Our room was very clean & homely, with a very comfortable bed. Anne was a great host, arranging a taxi for us to & from the wedding reception. The bonus being in the morning were we had a cooked breakfast, when we had been anticipating a... More
