Location is great, very central for shopping (Ideal for the wife and Daughter). Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of friendly service and standard of food served. We used the indoor Golf facility on several occasions. I would recommend you try this more than once, as it gets better as familerise yourself with... more

Stayed on a friday and saturday on a dinner, bed and breakfast package. check-in went fine and was pleased to see that the sofa bed had been made up for us before arrival. Dinner was good and breakfast was to a similar standard - excellent mushrooms however the drinks are expensive but plenty of places to go to in the... more

Spent 4 nights at this Hotel. It is 5 minutes walk from the beach the town centre and the main railway station which is 10 minutes on a train direct from Prestwick Airport. The rooms are modern and clean and their is a nice pool with jacuzzi gym etc. What impressed me most was the friendlieness of the staff. They... more

Arrive with mediocre expectation and you will not be disappointed. From the outside it looks like a 1960 prefab with no character and no fresh paint. The inside is similarly dull and uninviting. Reception staff fine but dining room staff brought a whole new meaning to the term dour Scot. It took so long to be served tea/coffee at breakfast... more

I made the reservation through a travel agent and of course they booked the wrong room type. Reception were excellent and as soon as I explained the problem they quickly found me another room and apologised even though it was not the hotels error. When I arrived in the room it was spacious, comforable and very clean. The only member... more

sorry but I have to say that the room i had in this hotel was the worst I've ever had, you couldn't swing a cat in it, it was noisy, opposite the lifts and stairs. The staff were very friendly but this doesn't make up for the fact that although the hotel is half empty you get an awful room.... more

Reception staff..Sarah and Ainsley both really helpful and the housekeepers were fab about getting extra towels etc after swimming..thank you Tilda and Lindsey!!. nothing ever seems too... more

I stayed here whilst travelling on business. Hotel looks like a 1970's car park, checked in easily and parked in the free carpark. 1st room was dingy and smelly, asked to be moved, staff nice, got a much nicer room which I think had been refurbished. Bathroom was not spotless but OK, went for swim, changing rooms not very clean,... more

17 Nov 2008 | Trip type: Family

We stayed over the halloween weekend. On arrival to the room there was a strong smell of urine or damp. I asked one of the cleaners if she could give me some disinfectant to clean the bathroom, she came in and squirted some down the toilet and immediately flushed the chain, this did not get rid of the smell. The... more

Stayed for a few days recently and was greatly impressed. The staff were very helpful and the food was great. Andy was a star, bubbly and cheery as well as knowing his job. Great location - near the shops and beach. Enjoyed the leisure club facilities - great to be able to relax. Will definitely recommend and be back more
