Arrive with mediocre expectation and you will not be disappointed. From the outside it looks like a 1960 prefab with no character and no fresh paint. The inside is similarly dull and uninviting. sorry but I have to say that the room i had in this hotel was the worst I've ever had, you couldn't swing a cat in it, it was noisy, opposite the lifts and stairs. The staff were very friendly but this doesn't make up for the fact that although the hotel is half empty you get an awful room.... more

I have stayed here previously and therefore was looking forward to my return stay. I had my parents with me and we had 2 lovely big rooms with a stunning view of Arran.
