This is one of the best B&Bs I've stayed in - Marion was a fantastic host, the building is lovely and in a great location for golf, the beach, the town centre and trips to Robert Burns Country. Clean, safe area, great value, very welcoming and homely - everything you need for a fantastic trip to Prestwick and Scotland's south... More

My Mum booked this for me but I felt I had to write a review. This is honestly the best B&B I have ever been to. Marion is a lovely person, she is so sweet. I got lost trying to find the place - even though it is so close and simple - and she helped me find the place.... More

Just got back from our UK vacation. It was our first time to Prestwick and found the Firhill by just browsing the web. Can't say enough about our host Marion. She was more than accomodating. After my round of golf at Troon in the rain she dried some of my golf attire for me.She was there for breakfast for us,... More

My wife and I stayed here as we were attending a wedding at the Parkstone Hotel which was located at the end of the street. We received a very warm welcome from the owner, Marion. Our room was very nice and very clean, which is important to us. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. The... More

This is our 3rd time at Firhill and we wouldn't go anywhere else. Marion is a lovely hostess and will go out of her way to make you feel welcome. We have stayed in the double and twin room and both are of excellent quality. They are kept exceptionally clean and tidy with a lovely en suite. Marion's breakfasts are... More

The Prestwick area is famous for golf and we now regularly stay at the Firhill. The hospitality is top notch and the breakfast is second to none and tailored to our exact needs (love the black pudding!). The out of hours availability of microwave, fridge, and contents certaintly strike a chord with my golfer son. The room and ensuite is... More

Cannot fault anything about Firhill. Rooms very pleasant, cosy and spotless. Breakfast if you were a big eater was better than some hotels that I've stayed in and the variety of food was tremendous for a B & B. Service was very pleasant, helpful and friendly. This is the standard by which every B & B should be judged by.... More
