We stayed BB for £30 pp per night in the cottage which was damp and old fashioned. The breakfast was described as continental but in fact consisted of cereal and toast in a very cramped dining room. We attempted to stay at the Abbey and then the MacLeod Center but they were full. We asked for some bed and breakfast places and were given many. I emailed Finlay Ross, and they had room for us. We had three men in a room with a bath, and a married couple in a room with a bath. The accommodations... more
After staying in this Bed and Breakfast in July this year, i wouldn't recommend it as somewhere to stay. I didn't find the staff particuarly helpful, and it seemed to be run very unprofessionally. When we arrived, the bookings were all written on a scrap of paper, and ours was missing despite the full amount having been paid in advance.... more
We arrived at Finlay Ross B&B late afternoon and were informed that they didn't have our booking - very strange as my cheque for the total amount had been banked the previous week.
