Loch Gorm House has to be the best B&B experience I have had. It felt like spending a week with old friends. Fiona is a great hostess, open and friendly and welcoming, as well as being involved in everything that is happening in this part of Islay. The breakfasts are superb - top quality ingredients beautifully cooked. The rooms are... more

Fiona, like most of the people who live on Islay has more than one job! Innkeeper and florist are just two of hers that she performs incredibly well. She made us feel so welcome and at home. If you are traveling to this amazing part of the world, stay with her! more

The view of waking up to seals basking on rocks barely 50 yards from Loch Gorm House, with the mountains of Jura as a backdrop, was only surpassed by Fiona's amazing and generous hospitality. She provides a great breakfast and knows where to go and what to do on the island. She very graciously got up much earlier than normal to provide us something to eat before we caught... more

What a fantastic B&B! Fiona Doyle, the owner, was gracious, friendly and extremely helpful. The Master Bedroom bath was like something you see in high end decorating magazines. I can recommend this B&B without reservation. more

Upon arriving at Loch Gorm House one is taken with the setting, view and tranquility. Fiona could not have been more friendly, accomodating and professional. She also is quite the cook, providing excellent breakfasts each morning of our stay. The room was beautifully appointed and comfortable and the to-die-for views were intoxicating. Having been in the hotel business I can... more
