Beautiful countryside and location. Room was very small, door would not open because the bed stuck out into the door. Carpet dirty, room a bit dismal. Staff very nice, breakfast was more than adequate. A bit more like a hostel than a B&B. Probably would not stay there again or recommend it.

On arrival room not ready, dining room tables & chairs covered in damp sheets! Couldnt get a simple massage, two large barking Alsation dogs, very small rooms, blood stains on wall by the side of the bed (I kid you not). People friendly enough and a lovely position but definately not a retreat, an OK b&b at best.

The rooms were like a third rate hostel, tiny and with a miserable shower. The wretched beds were very uncomfortable. The cooked breakfast was cold. The kitchen was next to the dining room and only three other people were eating! There is no close respite. The people were friendly enough.
