Stayed here over the weekend with family & neighbours. Friends of the family are from Milown Malby, 5 k's away so this is our yearly trip (I decided to write review it this time) to meet up & have a couple of pints. Booked the hotel on Hotels.com at a cheaper rate, but the hotel's rate isn't off the scale... more

Excellent hotel, I found the staff very friendly, and yes they did remember my order. Great atmosphere in the bar, and again service was very quick and efficient. Food quality was excellent above par for a 3 star hotel. Pricing overall was good, I stayed 2 nights for the same price as one night in another hotel (and with no... more

Stayed one night on our jaunt through Ireland. Room had a view of the Atlantic and was clean and comfortable. Had dinner in the restaurant, my wife had the Irish stew and said it was the best she ever had. I tried it and agreed and I don't even like stew! I had the chicken kiev which was very good.... more

My son was married in Clare and his reception was at the Armada. Some guests stayed there, but several of us opted for the smaller (and less expensive, but close enough) Bellbridge Hotel. The night before the wedding we totaled 23. We booked a meal at the Bellbridge. The staff in the restaurant were terrific. We got real special treatment. Nothing... more

We had our wedding reception here in July 2009 and the majority of our family and friends stayed that night. It was perfect. The staff were excellent and nothing but helpful, polite and courtious, the rooms were spotlessly clean, the food was delicious and the experience on whole was just brilliant. We have had family and friends return there for... more

The receptionist gets full marks. The staff in the bar were friendly, but 2 out of the 3 waitresses had the combined memory of a gold fish. The breakfast staff get full marks to. The sound proofing was remarkable in so far as I had to go all the way to the pub to find out what the 'live music'... more

Im a 21 year old accounting student who intended getting away with boyfriend and friends 4 a nice weekend 2 celebrate my exam results. The hotel is not equiped 2 deal with people under the age of 50! Most of the staff were extremely rude. Breakfast was barely edible greasy parsley smothered eggs and cold rubbery toast. As there was... more

We found hotel very expensive for a 3 star, as they bumped up prices for Willie Clancy weekend. Very noisy until 4am and banging of doors throughout did not enhance a any sleep. Room was large and clean, but bar food was below standards, also chaffing dish breakfast was lukewarm on both days. Not good value for 150 euros per... more
