Last minute decision to stay in Ennis on Saturday night, left it late to make a hotel reservation, so I did not have much choice when it came to hotels that were available. Passed a B&B which was very near the Auburn Lodge hotel on the Galway side of Ennis. I was looking for a room with a double and a single bed as we have a three year old. The B&B looked good from the outside, a new build. It had availability. Once inside the front door there is a reception area and a nice foyer area with tourist information/leaflets to browse through. The room was clean and bright, bedding very nice, towels in the bathroom however were very worn which I was surprised about. Room were of a very good size (easily the size of a reasonable hotel bedroom). Each room had tea making facilities.
