We were greeted warmly by Declan after a long day of sightseeing . We arrived in Shannon at 7 am and spent the day driving and sightseeing. Our booking agent messed up our confirmation, but Declan had a beautiful ensuite room for us. The home is filled with antiques and has been family owned and operated forever. Our room was... more

My son and I stayed at Newpark House for two nights. When we pulled into the drive, I new immediately that I had picked a winner. The location was great, the facility was fantastic, the rooms comfortable and homey, the breakfast was as good as any other (even better) than the other B & B's that we stayed at. But... more

The Inn Keepers were very sincere and always trying to please. Rooms were large and clean. Breakfast presentation was traditional and plentiful. The B&B was the real thing--a true experience that will transport you back in time when Ireland was Ireland. Glenn & Francine, New Jersey, United States--- more

At the end of our 2 week stay in Ireland, we needed a final night and wanted to be closer to the Shannon airport for our morning departure. Ennis is just 15-20 minutes north and the Newpark House is a marvelous way to spend your final night. The hosts, the Barron family, were great with an extensive collection of Irish... more

Had booked several B&Bs to stay at in Ireland and this one was the worst of them all. It is a very beautiful house from the outside but the inside was run down, damp and nothing to write home about. Even the breakfast wasn't very good. We only stayed one night and we used vouchers from GCS. As we were... more

I am writing this in response this review which incorrectly states that we added an extra charge. Thes clients booked an ensuite room (with private bathroom). When checking out they handed me standard room vouchers. Their travel agent neglected to inform them that there was a suppliment to be paid with standard room vouchers for an ensuite room. I realized...

2 girlfriends and myself decided it was time we had a weekend away. I have been to Ennis twice before and fell in love with the friendly people and my grandfather grew up there. We scrolled through lots of B&B's but once I had set eyes on New Park I loved it instantly and I was right!! My friend also... more

We used Ennis as the hub for three days exploring Co Clare and Co Galway and stayed at Newpark House. The room was large and we had our own balcony. Breakfast was not only delicious, but we had a new set of visitors from Europe, UK, and the US every morning to share experiences and recommendations. The house is outside... more

let's fast forward to the feather beds. Heaven! Now, all in all this B and B is head and shoulders above the rest. Having said that it is diffficult to find an inadequate B and B in Ireland. in most cases, what you see is what you get. You could pick a 'lemon' but you would know before you went... more

We just returned from a ten day trip to Ireland. We spent three nights at Newpark House near the end of our trip. It is ideally located for trips to the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle, etc. As soon as we pulled into the driveway we knew we had found a jewel. The hosts are very accommodating and... more

I recently spent two nights at the Newpark House in Ennis. The outside of the house was quite lovely... very "castle like". The surrounding yards and woods made you feel like you were in the country when in fact you were within walking distance of a good sized shopping area and restaurant. The beds were the most comfortable of our... more
