No problems at all on our recent bank holiday trip to Ennis. For 2 nights BnB, 1 dinner, access to leisure centre, 5 mins drive from the town - we got an excellent deal!! We had no complaints at all! Meal times too regimented, we felt like we were on a school trip. Was it really necessary to serve carrots on 4 consecutive nights? Might be OK for individual travellers, but unable to cope with groups.May recommend to solos, not to groups. more

Auburn Lodge Hotel at Ennis, Ireland. I wonder when the staff slept. We spent a week there in August 2009, and whenever food and drink was needed, it was provided. Excellent service, quiet and clean. We stayed for a whole week together with more than 20 other members of the family. The hotel staff always made sure that we had everything we needed and let us feel like home. We'll be back anytime! more

Stayed for one night and to be honest was a little disappointed. From the front the hotel is gorgeous and inside everything is very dated. Our room was very dark and very dated. You could tell that alot of people had stayed there before which isn't a nice feeling. The furniture was stained and very used looking. But the book... more

I really don't know what some of the other reviewers want in a hotel ! The staff are Extremely friendly and accommodating - one of the last hotels where you can get a genuine Irish welcome. The food, breakfast, lunch and dinner were very nice. The leisure centre is an excellent facility in the hotel. We stayed for three nights.... more
