I was in Ireland for about two weeks and stayed at Glenomra House 3 seperate times. It was a lovely place, the Irish breakfast was wonderful and Mary was delightful. I would recomend staying here. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality Mary. more

Back again to Glenomra. I spent 3 days here in 2007 and came back this year and spent another 3 days. From here it was an easy drive to the Cliffs of Mohr and the Burren, the next day we drove to Doolin another easy drive and took the ferry to the Aran Islands and to get a look at... more

Gkenomra is overall a nice place to stay, the house is clean, the rooms are clean and modern, breakfast is tasty and of fairly good selection, Mary has certainly got the gift of the gab for the tourists but as an Irish person staying in a B&B I could really do without that, I don't like the intrusiveness of most... more

My husband and I needed a place to stay close to the Shannon airport the night before our trip and we picked this B&B based on reviews. It is a 7 minute walk from the bus station, and the lovely owner greeted us graciously when we arrived. The room was nice overall but the bed was much too short for... more

Hotels are nice but if you wish to meet lovely, warm hearted Irish people in a smaller scale setting this is worth your while! Mary deserves the above praise. My adult daughter came with me for a stay of a few days in Ennis. As she had not been well, she stayed in from time to time on her own... more

We recently stayed one night at the Glenomra House prior to having an early flight out of Shannon. The highlight was the great hospitality provided by Mary - not only did she give us a warm welcome, but she helped us with everything we needed to know, from directions to finding a late dinner. We had a very early morning... more

Older style rooms, but clean. It was a little noisy at night, old house, old floor boards. All rooms had tv but there was also a lounge with a wi console and big tv. The breakfast was huge and very nice, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, and eggs bacon etc.The hostess was very nice and helpful. more

Glenomra House is an excellent home away from home when visiting County Clare. The location, just a 10-minute walk from the heart of Ennis, is ideal for the tourist, and the hospitality provided by Mary is first class. My wife and I enjoyed our stay so much that we extended from three days to five and used Glenomra as a... more

Our stay at Glenomra House was our last night in Ireland. It was very conveniently located to the Shannon Airport (about 20 minutes). We were unable to have breakfast before leaving, because the dining room was too full. The house is rather noisy and you can easily hear other guests and the road outside. Mary was a pleasant, but we... more

Fabulous. So clean and so welcoming. Mary has a lovely home and is so welcoming. Close to Ennis town centre and very easy to reach. Even the sat-nav got me there. Go for it! more
