I stayed in woodgate house bed and breakfast in july with my husband and two children aged 4 and 2, we were given a beautifull large family room, on arrival the host gave us some homemade scones, which we ate gladly after driving from killarney. The B &B was about a ten min stroll from the village and about a two min drive, we visited the castle which was very enjoyable, I did not climb to the top, as I was too nervous to leave our 2yr old go up. As we were staying in b & b for three nights, we were made feel very welcome, and enjoyed a fine hearty breakfast each morning. Only downside to our visit was the price of eating out was still pretty expensive, we enjoyed some eveing music in the muskerry arms a local pub in the village, all in all we have a lovely stay in blarney, and will return. more
