If you ever find yourself in Blarney and want to eat definitely go and have a meal at the BLARNEY CASTLE HOTEL. You can choose to eat in the main bar, in the restaurant or in the back room. We decided to eat in the bar as the place was buzzing with atmosphere. We were totally thrilled with the excellent... more

For our 9th golfing tour to Ireland our group of 6 Senior Golfers found our weeks stay at the Blarney Castle Hotel exceptional. We cannot speak highly enough of the accommodation, food, the bar, the warmth of the hospitality, the locals and the first class service from all of the incredible staff. Truly excellent value. All credit to Ian and... more

We spent a very romantic weekend in this charming hotel and would recmmend it to all. The breakfasts were fantastic and inventive, there was a secure hotel carpark and lovely traditional irish bar, spacious comfortable room and free broadband. All in all we had a wonderful time and it was a really traditional old fashioned Irish hotel in the best... more

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend. The staff are all extremely friendly and will bend over backwards to help with anything. The food was wonderful. The bar has a great atmosphere - it gets very busy and as a result quite loud, but as hotel guests the manager always made sure we had a seat and were... more

Great food. Great pub. Problem is the sound from the pub keeps you up until 1am every night. The rooms have no heat at night. There is no wifi. Not what is advertised. more

Heat turned off at night, 3 degrees C. No wifi available, don't trust John Forrest. Owner was loud, insulting to me, and yelled at his employees at check-out. Said he didn't know anything about the advertised 125/pps/day rate including dinner 1 night. Stay elsewhere, but eat and drink here! more

We stayed here for 3 nights including St. Patrick's day, and this family run inn was the highlight of our trip to Ireland. Everyone made us feel at home, always asked if everything was okay, or was there anything else that they could do for us, and they always made us feel like they really meant that they would do... more

I can't say enough about how my husband, friends, and I enjoyed our stay at the Blarney Castle Hotel. We had an ambitious itinerary of visiting Dublin, Cork, Killarney, and Cashel in one week with two couples plus three children ages 5 and under. On our odyssey from Dublin to Cork, we came to the Blarney Castle Hotel very weary.... more

Great hotel, with B&B feeling. Location was absolutely perfect, across the lawn from the Blarney Castle entrance, the pub downstairs was wonderful, the staff was great, and Ian the owner was really attentive to all our needs. Breakfast was very filling, and our room was huge!!! Overall I highly recommend this Hotel, stay here and drive into Cork. more
