Wanted somewhere to get away, and decided on Blarney, found this on line, chose it because of location, being in the Square of Blarney, right opposite the famous Blarney Castle and so close to the City for shopping. The food was indescribable!! We have eaten all over the world but have YET to eat better, The menu is so broad,... more

My husband and i just returned from a two week stay in Ireland and this B&B was far above the rest. We arrived late one evening and were so excited to find a very lively pub scene including live music directly below the hotel, this was warm and welcoming each night of our stay. There was plenty of parking available... more

My friend and I arrived around 8:00 pm. It was dark and raining and no direction signs for "reception" so we entered the bar. It was in full swing and I asked the bartender where hotel registration was and he merely asked me my name and handed me a key. "Upstairs, first door on the right". Whow, now that was... more

Had a wonderful experience staying in Blarney. The staff at the Muskerry Arms were very friendly and always had time for a chat. The room was very comfortable and clean, there was some noise but not excessive. Restaurant and food very nice indeed. A very informal atmosphere. Met some lovely people during our stay, in particular Oliver who adopted us... more

The hotel had positive and negative aspects... I found the property on the internet and the rooms looked great so I phoned and booked. The person I spoke to was very friendly. Got to Blarney and saw that the hotel is above a very busy pub (huge quantities of beer kegs were just being delivered) so I was a bit... more

Recent stay for Friday night at Muskerry Arms. Not for families, close to Blarney Castle...Walk everywhere is small town. They did have parking which was good. Restaurant food was just OK...Room was clean, staff was spotty..mostly in Pub downstairs. Was a bit noisy after "bar close"...they partied in street for a few hours. more

My wife, 3 month old baby girl and myself stayed here for 3 nights from Wed - Sat. The plus points - The staff are very friendly and accomodating and hotel/pub is situated in the village of Blarney. We stayed in Room 1 (double room) despite booking a family room. The room was clean BUT certain things like no plug... more

Muskerry Arms – great location, nice newly refurbished rooms, right over a lively pub but the noise isn’t a problem from the bar unless you are a very light sleeper. Breakfast was good, but spoilt a little bit with a surly waitress (but this was only one person). Dinner at the hotel is a must have, excellent food, served with... more

My fiancee and I stayed here for two nights , a Friday and Saturday night. Never again though! We didn't get any sleep the Friday or Saturday night due to the loud music being played in the pub underneath our room. When that finally stopped we were kept awake by the drunken yobs shouting and laughing on the street and... more
