Stayed at the Anam Cara with family of adult children. All rooms were spacious and clean, w/ comfortable beds and individual baths. Short walk to dowtown area of restaurants and pubs. Tim and Aideen very friendly and informative, made you feel welcomed. Would definitely stay here again upon return. K&J, Boston, MA more

The service and friendliness was truly excellent. I can't fault this B & B in any way, I would definitely go back. (And right opposite the bus stop from the airport). more

Have stayed twice in the Anam Cara - early 2009 then August 2009. Ensuite rooms are clean and comfortable, with digital TV and tea/coffee facilities. Off-road parking is available in front of the premises. Cork University is nearby and Cork city centre is only a 10-15 minute walk. The full Irish breakfast is a great way to start any day!... more

I stayed three nights at AC and found my room clean and comfortable. You can also buy a visitor pass for the health club oppositr the B&B. The Irish breakfast was ok but the continental not what I expected. Anam Cara is close to University and parking space is a real plus. more

We stayed here for a city break in Cork and it was great. A true warm Irish welcome and a hearty breakfast to set us up for the day. Within minutes of the city centre, it was the ideal base for us to explore Cork City and Tim and Aideen were very helpful and friendly, giving us plenty of ideas... more

I stayed in Anam Cara with my husband for two nights. The location is fabulous for shopping, dining out and night life. You are within walking distance of lots of restaurants, pubs and clubs. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. There is free parking and wi-fi. The hosts were very helpful and my husband especially enjoyed the Irish breakfast. more

Well first off, when we arrived at the B&B the house smelled infested with smoke. The host was not very welcoming. She acted like she didn't want us there, and didn't know what we were doing there. We were then shown to our rooms. The rooms were about as clean as a toothbrush used by a bum, to say the... more
