It's hard to complain about such good value - breakfast included plus two meals during a four night stay - but the rooms really do need some attention. I thought we had been transported back to 1980. Old TV, depressing colors, poor choice of furniture, etc. But the location is wonderful if you are looking for a charming little Irish... more

The hotel was close to Cork and very comfortable. There is a delicious restaurant in the hotel and we all enjoyed the bar after a long day of touring. more

During my stay in the Hotel, I was very disappointed as the TV did not work in the room and another TV had to be brought in. The room could do with updating and there was no shower cap in the bathroom. Also given the wrong room on arrival, even though I had requested a room with a view. more

Stayed one night and on arrival the TV did not work and another TV had to be brought in from another room. I was also given the wrong room even though I had requested a room with a view. There was no shower cap there for having a shower. As I had stayed here before, I was quite disappointed. The... more

spent two nights here this month.the hotel was such a let down.the photos on the website must have been of another hotel, rooms were dated, in need of a refurbish.the television set was from the 80's, along with the swirly pattenend carpets and curtains. The hotel is certainly not 4star. food wasnt any better. very poor seletion at breakfast buffet.... more

We have just stayed at this hotel, and had booked it because of a special offer being advertised. The hotel website shows the bedrooms looking beautiful and contemporay.....however the reality is that all the bedrooms are bland boring 1990's style with flowery curtain, pink walls, a small bed and an old TV. Surely this is not legal, as it completely... more

Just back from a 3 night stay in Carrigaline. Weather was dreadful which did not help our whole experience! Location of hotel is right in middle of the small town of Carrigaline. Good for visiting Cork, Kinsale and Fota Wildlife Park. The hotel was very busy for mid week and as the restaurant only opens at weekends the bar was... more
