The hotel is in a run down part of Cork and the hotel isn't much better. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming but the room was freezing, the bath rusty, the shower only hot when the cold tap ran or the toilet flushed, the whole hotel was overpowered by the smell of too much chlorine from the pool and... more

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Found the check-in staff attentive and organised. Food and drink were lovely, bar staff were brilliant. Rooms were satisfactory for what we wanted. I'd requested rooms near to our friend's room and the hotel had obliged. Great pub down the road from the hotel Pat Buckley's - go in and have a pint,... more

I recieved great service during the 6 weeks I stayed on business in Cork, all the different rooms were clean, comfortable and the food was good. The staff were very attentive and it was a pleasure to stay there. The hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from the centre of cork city, and i would recommend it to anyone.... more

We recently stayed at the hotel. Location wise the hotel is about a ten minute walk to Cork city centre-out the hotel gate and turn left and then right and walk downhill to a set of traffic lights. Cross here and follow the footpath via a bridge over the River Lee. You come to a set of traffic lights and... more

Myself and my husband booked to stay to attend a family function in the hotel on Saturday 29th August. We had booked a double room and asked was there secure parking which we were assured there was. When we arrived there was no parking in the hotel and we were advised to park on the street. The double room we... more

I only stayed one night. I was seeing a concert at a local theatre. If you plan on having a car while staying at this hotel...try and find somewhere else that can provide parking it seemed like a mess. If you dont have a car like myself the hotel was a great fit. The rooms were average but the location... more

The corrdiors were musty, the bedroom smelled of stale disinfectant (or something!), there were burn marks on the carpet, the hot water tap only let out a dribble of water, and the bed was squeaky. In addition, parking was limited - we had to park on the street and buy a parking disc every 2 hours. Overall, it was a... more
