Loved the Lotamore house. It was beautiful. Our beds were very comfy, and the room was just perfect. They offer a full Irish breakfast, as well as many other foods. The receptionist was very nice and very helpful with suggesting places to go eat at. Hope to come back to Ireland, and will definately book a room here. more

I stayed at lotamore house at the weekend with my boyfriend and was very impressed. I will admit that I was a little nervous at first as the hotel is a bit out of town and it did look a little run down on the outside but was very charming on the inside. The woman on the front desk couldnt... more

Spent one lovely night in the Lotamore House. Really lovely house and very friendly and helpful staff. 4 km from city centre so a car is definitely required. Breakfast (as mentioned in other reviews) was fantastic. more

It was our second stay at Lotamore as we had such a pleasant memories with the place. It is quite old-fashioned ut with such a character and charm. We have choosen their Luxury Break with champagne, fruit and chockolates on arrival and enjoyed our little escape. If possible ask for a room upstairs ( I think it was 21) overlooking... more

Stayed here for one night on business. It's a real step back in time to when I was a child staying B&B's on Holiday. High ceilings, antiques everywhere. It's nice to stay somewhere with a bit of character rather than the benign standard Hotel room you get from here to the Far East. Breakfast was superb. The only thing you... more

Stayed here at Lotamore as part of a driving trip around south west ireland but were distinctly unimpressed compared to some of the other accomodation we stayed in. First impressions were not good. Hotel is situated off a noisy dual carriageway and overlooks a large industrial and factory area despite photos on the website making it look like its in... more

Lotamore House is a fantastic old home where you step in time and experience the life of 100 years ago. The hotel is a beautiful old building that needs some work on the grounds and externally but offers accomodation with a difference. The fittings and decorations in the house fulfill the experience of stepping back in time and the room... more

Yes a lovely old place, but unfortunately we were not put up in a room as splendit as shown in the brochure. It was small and noisy(next to the breakfast room). The view is indeed over the harbour - tanks and factories! Once it must have been delightful. more
