Off and on been staying at the Mills for years, though it had been some time since I stayed there. It really is a lovely place with the most friendly of staff. There has been afew changes of owner since I first stayed there but it has never lost its charm and I hope it never does. For exploring West... more

We found the hotel without any problems and checked in the same. Very friendly staff who even showed us where the laundry cupboard was in case we needed anything extra for our room. We had a family room, 1 kingsize bed and 2 single beds. It was comfortable and clean. The bar was nice too with lovely food. In the... more

We stayed here for one night en route from Cork to Killarney. It is a superb place, with clean, well appointed rooms, in a traditional style. The staff were all very welcoming, and went out of their way to be helpful. The food was excellent, even that which you would not consider to be traditional Irish fare. As mentioned elsewhere,... more

It's beautifully decorated, charming, clean, the rooms were stunning and comfortable, the food was delicious, our favourite being the breakfast, run by one of the loveliest ladies we've met.... more

Recommendeded without reservation. Clean reasonably tasteful rooms. Attentive staff (who speak English). Good central locatiion. Good food. Rooms are over a ground floor bar and perhaps noise might be an issue from time to time. more

The Mills Inn has plenty of Irish charm, and it was great to be able to just pop downstairs and have a drink or a meal in a traditional Irish pub! The service and the food in the pub was great. The room wasn't perfect - quite cold and I was disappointed to find sheets and blankets on the bed... more

I think the Mills Inn in Ballyvourney is superb! The rooms are spotless (love the four poster beds!!), the food is delicious and there is a great atmosphere in the Bar, very friendly and relaxed. My 7 year old daughter loves the place and wants to go back every summer when her brothers are in the nearby gaeltacht. We have... more
