My girlfriend and I visited this hotel in May for a weekend away. We were looking for something special and were prepared to pay a premium for the best. We got a great deal on a package deal from the Kingsley and were suitable impressed, except for the Otters restaurant. The receptionist and porter gave a great first impression and... more

My fiancee and I traveled to Ireland for the first time, and didn't know quite what to expect for accomodations. We were pleasantly surprised. The Kingsley Hotel is a fantastic hotel. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. Bathrooms were spacious as well with high-end and good-sized toiletries.... more

Stayed in the Kingsley for a weekend at the end of February. In summary it's quite a nice place once you are inside (exterior very funcitonal, could be improved with some trees). There is a lounge area off the reception where you can have food/drinks in comfy seats with the River Lee flowing by. There is no way though that... more

We stayed for 2 nights, one week before Christmas. All staff made us feel welcome, greeting us at every opportunity, and "going the extra mile" in a simple but effective manner. It gave the impression that the staff were interested in making our stay a pleasant and relaxing stay, and it is a credit to all the staff that this... more

Our second hotel while in Eire. Reception Welcoming, efficient and helpful on each encounter. Room Very comfortable, contemporary styling. The LCD was nice but the channels available were a bit weird and strongly in favour of children (loads of cartoom channels, no film channels). Nice surround sound speakers but DVD system with no DVDs. Great wet room/shower. Eating Breakfast was... more
