We stayed here for two nights (Friday and Saturday ). Rooms were extremely basic and shabby and were charged €125 a night, which was extremely overpriced for what essentially is as grim as a youth hostel. Myself and my wife stayed on Friday 29th May. We paid 150 Euro for one night (overpriced) for a room at the front of the hotel. In challenging times, The Emmet Hotel provided a beautiful, homely experience which is EXTREMELY good value for money....i'll be spreading the word!!...and i'll be coming back!! more

Stayed with my daughter on a whistle stop tour of Ireland. Walked in off the Street and got a decent rate 65 euro. The Emmet Hotel has a lovely restaurant. Typically Irish, the meet and greet was a little "laid back", but very welcoming.
