If you are visiting Cork and you love yummy food for breakfast, you have to stay here. Its been almost a year since we stayed here and we are still talking about all the wonderful breakfast food. We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. For the first night (on the weekend), we were in a small room,... more

Garnish House is an experience. The greeting you may read about in Lonely Planet's blurb is spot-on: you are immediately welcomed with a tray of tea, scones, cakes and anything else you could ever want by Johanna, the owner/manager of the house. She is a lovely Irish woman who treats you like her own child! The breakfasts are incredible, but... more

The Garnish House is a great place to stay. I was traveling with my two extremely active boys and we were given a very large family room located directly across from the main building. It was great! My boys could be a little more themselves(rowdy) without having to worry about annoying a entire house full of people. The staff are... more

What a wonderful Guest House. We were appointed an apartment. It was not part of the main house, but only a few doors down the street. We had a private entrance, large bedroom , nice size bathroom and another living area with sofa bed and efficiency kitchen. The place was very clean and the breakfasts were phenomenal. This is an... more

Garnish House earns a top rating from my husband and I. The personal service was wonderful, especially when we arrived. They made us feel very special and we truly believed they would do whatever was needed to make sure we were happy. The best part of the stay was the breakfasts! The selections and food served were gourmet in both... more

My wife and our two adult sons visited Ireland for the first time and flew into Cork. What a wonderful surprise to be greeted by Marcel and fresh scones and coffee on our arrival. Marcel went way out of his way to be accomadating and helped us with our train tickets to Dublin. Staff was exceptional. Not many places you... more
