The Auburn House is a very good place to stay in Cork. As others have mentioned, the hosts go out of their way to make your visit pleasant. Kieren's restuarant recommendations were very good. The location is convenient (5 minute walk) to the train station, the bus station, and the city center. The breakfast choices far exceeded what you find... more

The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served daily by the owners and was wonderful. The room was spacious and clean. Only downside was the noise at night from the hostel across the street and cars on the street. more

Kieran and Olive are the perfect hosts. We were met by Kieran who took our case to the room then kindly parked our car for us in the secure car park at the rear of the property. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious. Nothing was too much trouble. Our hosts were helpful in many ways ie. supplying maps pointing... more

Really close to the city centere! Auburn house is located acrossed the street from a very large hostel where lots of college students stay (well, at least it seemed that way when we were there). It did not bother me cause I'm a heavy sleeper, but if you are a light sleeper (as my sister is), make sure you bring... more

One of my favorite B and B experiences! Olive and Kieran went out of their way to make me feel at home while I explored Cork (and what a great city it is!). They have a fine place with spacious, clean and inviting rooms. Breakfast was excellent. As I stayed for a number of days I can also say it... more

We've just returned from a trip to Cork and stayed at Auburn House. Olive and Kieran were kindness itself. We arrived in Cork about 10.30 but there was no problem in leaving our baggage in the B&B whilst our room was ready. On our arrival, Olive provided us with a map of the city and bus/train timetables for our planned... more

We recently stopped here for valentines day and our first anniversary. The room was spacious and really clean! I dont think a hotel would have been any better!. Kieran and Olive are so helpful with things to do in Cork when we arrived they gave us a map and told us where the main streets were! The one morning we... more

A real home from home, 5 minutes walk from the northern side of town but with plenty of bars and restaurants close by. Great hosts couldn't have made us more welcome but not at all interfering. Fab breakfasts and a really cosy room - we had room two which was at the back of the house and no neighbours at... more

I just got back from my stay in Ireland. We treated ourselves to one B&B during our 10 day stint (the rest were hostels). We definitely made a great choice to treat ourselves to the Auburn House! There were 2 couples that went and we each stayed in our own rooms with a double bed. Both rooms were very clean.... more

We stayed here in early October and had lucky room #13, across the road from the main house. Talk about a lovely room, with a king sized bed and single bed. En suite was nice, big shower with excellent water pressure. The room was really big, lots of closet space, a nice desk, tv, and tea & coffee supplies, huge... more
