St. Ernan's is a great discovery, a completely quiet, elegant and refined hideaway which is breathtaking to view and comforting to enjoy. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are intimate, the view breathtaking. Brian and his wife are wonderful hosts and coudln't be more helpful or accomodating. Breakfast is simple and delicious. Location-wise, it's perfect. You're a few minutes down... more

We stayed at Saint Ernan's place for two nights. The B & B is set on beautiful grounds just a little way from Donegal town. You cross a causeway to to get to the little island. The rooms are grand with comfortable bedding, linens & huge bathrooms. Staff are very accommodating and pleasant. Breakfast was great. We had dinner one... more

Just back after being in Donegal for the easter break.Spent two very relaxing nights at St Arnans with my Fiancee.The staff were very friendly and efficient and yet not obtrusive.They even up graded us from a Standard room to a Superior room. It is a perfect "get away from it all location".When the stresses and strains of life catch up... more

My wife and I spent two wonderful nights at St. Ernan's in September. It occupies a magical spot on its own small island on the outskirts of Donegal. The rooms are large, the food outstanding, the people are warm and friendly. It was one of our more expensive stays - and worth every penny. It has a certain cozy elegance... more
