Stayed here for the first nite of our honeymoon and am so glad did not have my wedding reception here. Arrived at reception to be greeted by a grunt from receptionist who could not even congratulate us when saying that we had honeymoon suite booked. Room was at back of hotel (overlooking the new motorway) so obviously an unpleasant view!... more

We went to a wedding in June in the Mill Park. From the minute we landed life just became one long easy, pleasant time. We were greeted by a friendly staff, to whom nothing was too much trouble, and escorted to what I can only say was a 'wow' room. Dublin hotels with your fancy suites 'eat your heart out'.... more

Stayed here for three nights with husband and three children. When I saw the family room I was very disappointed, shabby walls, fingerprint marks, and an array of beds everywhere! bathroom nice and clean but only had a shower and no bath. Evening meals wonderful, but breakfast a disaster! served from 7.30 til 10am but inedible by 8 o'clock as... more

We stayed in the mill park hotel on a saturday night and what a treat, eat in the restaurant upstairs and its great for people watching and you get the music also, a girl with a great voice singing and the guy on the piano. The food was very good and you where not rushed out even at 10.30pm... the... more

Hotel grounds nice - and food fab, but thats is where the good points end with this hotel. Rooms are shabby and in need of modernisation. Bar staff very slow and kids allowed in bar until all hours of the night. An average hotel if you get a good price, but by no means impressive. more

Just returned from a one night stay in Mill Park Hotel for a friend's wedding reception. First impressions of the hotel were lovely, with nice grounds, inviting reception area, friendly staff and very spacious rooms. The meal at the wedding was perfect, and breakfast the next morning was a plentiful buffet. The only downsides were the room was a bit... more

My husband and I were at this hotel on 3rd May 2008 for a wedding reception. Having left home at 11.30 a.m., been to wedding in Donegal and travelled on to the hotel, were glad to reach it at 3.20 pm. We found the staff to be really friendly, lovely to see in this day and age, people still care!... more

Great Night! On Saturday the 26th we had a family meal in the Mill Park Hotel. In total there were 20 in our group. We had a fabulous night. The food was above the standard of a provincial Irish hotel with great wine and a very professional service. I would strongly recommend to anybody. If the managers read this well... more

I have stayed at the Mill Park at least three times now and certainly plan to return. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is quiet and relaxing in the rooms and usually busy in the bar. I think that is a nice combination. The food in the bar is excellent. There is really no reason to go anywhere else.... more
