Lovely hotel - we had a great weekend here. I was prepared for worse, to be honest when we arrived after reading the reviews, and I could wholeheartedly agree with most of the comments - I guess it depends on the purpose of the weekend as to how these would bother you. Stayed at the Abbey Hotel Donnegal for four nights. The room smelled of nicotine. The light fittings were broken. The bathroom had faeces on the fittings. Difficult to rate this hotel. You could have a great time or a miserable time depending on when you stay and what room you're in.
