I would not recommend this hotel. I stayed here with my parents for a visit to Dublin. The room was ten minutes away, and directions from reception were poor. The corridor outside the lift on the second floor smelt of smoke. The room was very cold, I then tried the air conditioning to 32C and this made no difference. Reception... more

First of all id like to say that I am not usually a complainer! im a simple person who expects to get what I pay for. For €59 euro i didnt expect luxury but to be honest after my stay in Ballsbridge I wouldnt ever come back to this hotel, even if it was for free, wont even get into... more

This hotel was very good for what we paid, we had a lovely quiet room on the ground floor, it was clean and had a great shower, the staff were pleasant. we could get a bus direct into the city which took five minutes or we could walk it to St Stephens green in fifteen minutes or so, I would... more

My opinion of the group of hotels after staying a number of times is that they are trying to milk the most profit from the guests with the least work and it is really evident and you do not even have to look hard. I had high hopes this time with the Ulysses Suite on the 7th Floor of the... more

I guess you pay for what you get and you certainly dont get a lot at the Ballsbridge Towers. Paper thin walls in a room with badly stained ceilings and peeling wallpaper. Un friendly staff. Apart from it's location there is nothing going for this place. Did not eat here as there is a couple of superb restaurants within minutes.... more

I guess the reason we got such a cheap deal online for overnight accommodation here should have been enough warning that the hotel is not great. Whilst the reception staff were helpful the bedrooms were dated, dirty and falling apart. Wouldn't recommend staying here until they have decorated and cleaned! And NO internet access as promised. more

I suppose you get what you pay for in life!! I used to stay here when it was Jurys..... Its the equivalent of your favorite airline been turned in low cost...... nothing seems to work.... bulbs gone in lights , smelly bathrooms - its almost like someone "broke" into the rooms and stole the luxury out of it.... sure the... more

stayed on 8th floor, room smelly, toilet seat broken, shower did not work, we had to queue for 30mins to be seated for breakfast and approx another 15mins to be served, basically a run down property, at eur 98 for room and breakfast it served its purpose for 1 night more
