There are some things about this hostel which are simply excellent. The free HOT breakfast provided is probably the best I've ever had in a hostel, and is better than some hotels will provide. 16 of us all stayed here for two nights for a birthday trip. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. The staff we're so helpful with every aspect. Breakfast and kitchen facilities surpassed our expectations. Though not as close to the sights/bars as other Dublin Hostels, still well within walking distance. Bunkhouse is just off O'Connel, on Parnell St. About a 20 min walk to the Tavern Bar area, touristy drinking spots. For what we were doing that weekend, drinking, sightseeing, partying... the hostel was perfect. There was internet available in the lobby, and breakfast served in the morning, for free.
