Very lovely hotel; our room was small but elegantly furnished. There is lift that services 2 floors. Our room was on the back side, very quiet. Absolutely delicious breakfast is included. The restaurant is fabulous. We ate there 2 nights.

Stayed on a Friday night in a room on 4th floor looking on to St. Stephen's Green for €175 incl. breakfast. Can't ask for a better location. Breakfast was good, but choice was a bit limited - I didn't notice any cheese(?), though the brown bread was gorgeous. But the friendliness was exceptional - at check-in, at breakfast and at... More

Spent a night in this beautiful town house located in Stephens green,a perfect location very central.Very nice spacious bedrooms furnished to suit the style of the building but was a little disappointed with the layout (no plug socket near mirror not good for women trying to use Hairdryers). From the minute we entered the restaurant I knew it was going to... Only downfall, no elevator and dragging a huge suitcase up 60+ stairs was a huge pain. But we were aware of that in advance and planned accordingly. Great small hotel with amazing breakfast. The lady working in the breakfast area was so pleasant and thoughtful. Looked forward to seeing her each morning. We had an early tour one morning and... More

We had booked the Cliff Townhouse Tuesday and Saturday, April 16 and 21. We pulled up and for some reason they did not have our reservation. While they sorted it out, they offered us a free lunch which was fantastic and elegant. They then came and said they had no room, but they booked us at another hotel, but they... More

We chose this inn for our last night in Ireland for the location and it did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the restaurant is top notch! Closes to Trinity College, shopping, Temple Bar and a great walk to the Guinness Storefront! Perfect spot for our last night in this wonderful country,

We stayed in the hotel for one night after a great meal in the restaurant . The old Georgian house is typical of many in Dublin It s in a great location, close to many, many pubs and restaurants. . Our room overlooked St Stephen's Green on the second floor, clean and comfortable with so many period features. The staff could... More

We were here for two days in late October, 2012 to round out a phenomenal honeymoon in Ireland. Location is everything, so they say, and The Cliff Town House has it. Easy walking access to countless pubs, restaurants, shopping and attractions with beautiful views overlooking Stephens Green. The rate we paid was a great value considering the location, the size... the Cliff Town House is mainly a restaurant with a few rooms. Top location overlooking St Stephen' Green, fantastic breakfast, great old house. I simply loved the old Georgian house and its glorious atmosphere. As other reviewers remarked it is not a place for people who like glossy hotels. Will go back and sample the food. Would definitely recommend this... More

As a family of five we had an lovely, memorable two days at the Cliff Townhouse before Christmas. The property is quirky and charming (but not in a forced hotel-chain way!) Its not for perfectionists who like boring clincial decor and toilet rolls with bows. We were on the top floor (that other reviewers complain about) which is a bit... More
