We were 4 people doing an independent driving trip of Ireland, staying in B&Bs. We had reserved places to stay before we left and actually, this was the only B&B available in Dublin. We stayed here for two nights. The place was very difficult to find, but seemed to be in a nice neighborhood. Parking is on the street and was difficult to find a spot. It is not in central Dublin but the tram into the city was within walking distance (E3.80 roundtrip) and there was a bus stop nearby. Unfortunately they only had one room available for the four of us, so we had a double bed and two singles. The room was dated, and smelled musty, the bathroom was nice. Towels were provided, but no wash cloths. The person who greeted us was the son of the owner of the house. I got the feeling that the owner is elderly and perhaps incapacitated because we never saw her, but heard her calling her son. Apparently he does not live there, because we never saw him again.
