We have just got back from an excellent weekend away in Dublin. We stayed a the Burlington as it was a recommended by a friend. We were not disappointed by our stay there and were pleased to see that the lobby and bar area's have been renovated to a good standard and make an excellent place to chill out... The... more

Got a really good internet deal for B&B in a king size exec room. The lobby and bar have been totally redone and are really nice. Staff are very friendly and know what they are at - it's not a temporary reopening as I had initially thought and I think business is only picking up so get the good deals... more

Having just returned from the Burlington, it is such a shame it is being demolished, as we had such a great stay. It may not look great from the outside, but this hotel is first class. Having checked in early, our room was ready which was great, the front hotel staff where very friendly and asked what brought us to... more

Thank you for your review of the Burlington. The hotel is reopening under new management on Thursday 24th of April. The Burlington will open as part of the new Great Southern Hotel Group. When it opens again this Thursday, the Burlington Hotel will reveal a brand new look in its lobby and bar, which have both been completely refurbished and...

I stayed at the Burlington hotel and it was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The food was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful (especially the recepetion staff). They go to every length to help you. In a great location of Dublin too. I advise everyone to go for the service they provide, it is a... more

I recenyly attaned a function at The Burlington on 30/11 and I think it is a total shame that such a great hotel is being closed down! Admittedly the place could use a touch up but I suspect that is due to the company closing the htel down and not the in house management. I found the overall service fantastic,... more

The Burlington is closing for good (hopefully) in January 2008 - and not before time. It is quite honestly one of the worst hotels in Dublin that I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. Whilst our room, on the 6th floor - on what they crassly call the Concierge Executive Club floor (although I've never seen a concierge... more

The Burlington is a rather perfunctory business hotel with a decidedly dull 70's look. Lots of tour buses, but a handy taxi stand right in front. I arrived on the overnight flight from LA and as expected (because of the morning hour) my room was not ready for a 3 night stay (10/21 - 24). I had a horrible cup... more

We recently stayed at the Burlington for the Dublin Marathon. We were booked through the charity that we were travelling with. The hotel itself was quite nice, small but reasonable rooms, comfy lobby, cool pub with a neat but very hot loft section, nice restaurant furnishings. The one major probelm we encountered was with the service. We were told that... more

Just stayed at the Burlington last weekend for the bank holiday. Booked directly with the Hotel at a reasonable price, which included breakfast & parking which was brilliant so close to the centre. I have to say I was a little nervous after reading some the other reviews that it wouldn't be great but have to say I was pleasantly... more
