I only stayed at Trinity College for one night, in the modern building at the far end of the campus. I arrived quite late and checked out bright and early the next morning, so I didn't spend much time in my room. For my purposes, it was fine. The central location is great and the students in the accommodations office... more

For our family of 2 adults and 3 children, it was a memorable location. We had a 3 bedroom apartment. Nice for everyone in terms of sleeping space. The beds were comfortable and the shower was powerful. But with a family, you have to prop all of the individual dorm rooms because they each lock individually with separate keys, but... more

We stayed four days in early September, 2008, and were disapoointed. Expected ambience and history on this ancient campus in the middle of Dublin however our room was more like an early very very small Motell 6 room. Very small for two people, no television, The dorm was about fifty years old builtt of cinder black and gray metal doors... more

Trinity College in the centre of Dublin offers cheap accommodation to visitors. You can have your own room with shared facilities for very cheap. Its not fancy but certainly provides a roof over your head - especially for singles who dont want to stay in hostels. It is on the main bus route and within walking distance of all tourist... more

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights during a 2-week trip around Ireland, and it was more or less exactly what we expected it to be. We are only a few years out of college ourselves, so we knew that we would probably just be getting a dorm room with the bare essentials. That's exactly what we got.... more

First of all, I have to say, we are not picky people...in fact, we love unique experiences - even if they aren't perfect - that make for special memories. At the time of our trip planning, the rates for a family of four to stay in a Dublin hotel were much higher than the price we paid for a Trinity... more

You're better off paying for a hotel as you don't get much for the price you pay. No TVs in rooms, no telephones - all you get really is a towel, soap and some tea-making facilities and the tea's not even good. Paying that much you'd at least expect a proper breakfast but all you get is a continental and... more

The room I was staying in was a bit of a trek from the accommodation office and the main entrance. Would have prefered to stay on the historical campus as opposed to goldsmith hall. I had fun there though- the staff in the office were super friendly and helpful. One in particular, a guy named enda it think was really... more

Welcome to Trinity College Student/Visitor accommodations-Goldsmith Division For a small fare of 95 Euros a night you will be treated to a minuscule one bedroom dorm that has neither a bathroom, toilet, telephone, and any other amenities that one should expect of even the most modest of hotels. Notwithstanding, you will be located in a beautifully remote location of the... more

Shoddy effort; run by students I guess. Even their booklet sends you to the wrong entrance door after hours. There is no way to book a particular room--allocation on day only. Lottery. We arrived 11am and still ended up with a dark north facing ground floor room beside the main entrance door which banged shut. GOOD NIGHT & GOOD MORNING.... more
