Well, top marks on location and staff. There is also free WiFi on campus; unfortunately out of range of the newer residences where we were staying; kind of odd for a more modern addition... The free continental (uncooked) breakfast was also acceptable although we stayed in similarly priced hotels elsewhere which included a full cooked Irish breakfast... Unfortunately, the newer... More

We got a recommendation from a Welsh man in the Temple Bar. He told us to visit the Trinity College and the Book of Kells.. The campus library at is a must see, it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The Book Of Kells is very cool. Worth the price of admission.

It is true, you stay right down at the historic trinity college. Close to the lively city and tempel bar, but 75 euro is too much per night. On the other hand, Dublin is an extremely expensive city, paying 5 to 6 euro for a pint of guiness. If you have been at University yourself, it feels like going back in... More

Every time I go to Dublin I have to breathe in the lovely old fashioned atmosphere of Trinity College. I love the library and strolls through the old buildings. I even spent a night in one of the accommodations, en suite, simple but clean and comfortable, for 70 Euro in the heart of the Capital quite a good value. The... More

Friends recommended a trip here to view the book of Kells. It was a very cold damp day and we had about a 20 minute wait for the tour to begin. Once it started, I was glad we came. Very good tour guide. Entertaining, ascerbic wit. Loved it. The book of Kells was interesting, though not as much as the... More

I loved the atmosphere and I was impressed with the library of the Trinity college. It was a wonderful atmosphere. In places like this I realize that even a second life would not be enough to get the vast knowledge there is around. The book of Kells impressed me. I like old stuff like this. It is worth while a... Anyone intending to stay at trinity halls, please read on. Trinity halls is by far most the WORST place to ever stay at. It is located SO FAR away from the school campus, absolutely ridiculous. In addition, they ENJOY awarding fines to the students that stay that for the most ridiculous reasons. In fact, even when they realise that they... More

On a positive note the location couldn't be better and the continental breakfast is perfectly adequate with a full Irish available for 4 euro extra. The reception staff are distant and unfriendly however and the rooms are unremittingly gloomy and basic (at least the one I stayed in was). Yes these are student quarters but would it be too much... I stayed here for a week in August for work. Accomodation is as you would expect for student halls, basic. I had a bathroom and a very large kitchen and living room to share with 2 other rooms in my flat (although these rooms remained unoccupied during my time there). I was in house 2, which had wifi for the... More

Amazing location for exploring Dublin. These are college dorm rooms, so know that going in, don't be looking for B&B trappings and you'll be OK. The staff is helpful. Good, solid breakfast. Mediocre shower water-pressure. We had no issues with sleeping at all. One important thing to be aware of: the front gate to the University closes early in the... More
