Rooms were spacious. Reception staff were friendly and always helpful. They changed our room configeration last minute with no price increase. We got the rooms at great offer price and were very happy with the location. Within walking distance to sights, buses and restaurants. Would definitely go back. more

that's all I can say about this hotel. It's simple. Don't expect too much from this. We were here with a group of 19 persons out on a drinking tour with the football team, so we only needed a bed, shower and breakfast ;-) Close to the bars area this is a good location. Breakfast is very simple as well;... more

The Hotel is very well situated in Temple Bar directly but away from the noisiest streets and very close to the bus stop from/to the airport. Room was comfortable, breakfast very good and rich. Most of all the staff is very kind and helpful. Simple hotel with good value for money more

This hotel is especially attractive by the location, less than a five minutes walk from The Temple Bar, the district full off Irish pubs and bars. The room and breakfast was temperate and acceptable, the service of the reception was very good. If you are looking for a central located hotel for an attractive price, this hotel is what you... more

We stayed at the hotel mon-fri . The location was brilliant right on the edge of Temple Bar. Front desk staff were very helpful and very polite. Our room was at the back of the hotel on the 4th floor, it was very quiet. The bed was clean and comfortable. The room was in dire need of an up date-... more

We stayed in the hotel monday to wednesday and thought it was okay, clean, tidy and well presented. Albeit needs a little refurbishing but for the price we paid it was great. Really helpful reception staff, gave us advice on tourist attractions and even helped us book events. Excellent location for getting around Dublin on foot, but the city tour... more

This was the only disappointing accommodation in over 90 nights of holiday. The location is excellent but the rooms are dingy, ordinary and desperately in need of refurbishment. Arriving with a car, access was a nightmare of oneway streets, particularly to the off-site car park. The breakfast was good, the staff OK but not really outgoing. All in all, a... more

This was my third stay at this hotel. I got a great mid-week rate of 70 euros a night including breakfast. The hotel is in a great location being at the end of Temple Bar but away from all the crowds of drinkers. I have to agree the hotel was in dire need of refurbishment. Our room was a bit... more

Stayed for 2 nights - booked 2 double rooms which were at the back of the hotel so very quiet. Location central for attractions. Stayed here 5 years ago - unfortunately not re-furbished yet as really is in need of an update ! Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Reception staff very helpful and friendly more

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the George Frederic Hotel. The hotel is perfectly positioned for sightseeing in and around Dublin and is handy for public transport links. Positioned right across the road is the magnificent Christchurch Cathedral and only a 20 minute walk to the guiness storehouse which is an absolute must for any visit... more
