Our group of students stayed in this hostel for five days. Our room was tiny and dirty. The trash can of the toilet was full of used tampons and the whole room smelled disgusting. We also found rotten apples from the corner of the room... The others' rooms were also as dirty as ours but at least not that small.... more

This hostel was not the worst I stayed at on my backpacking trip to Ireland. But it definetly has room for improvement. The biggest turn off for me was when I was walking up the stairs to my room and saw the toilet. Reasonable hostel accommodation. Wasn't perfect but then with a hostel you do not expect perfect. The shower was falling off the wall a little and it could do with a lick of paint. However the accommodation was clean, staff helpful and atmosphere friendly. They also have free internet which was useful. Breakfast was basic but filling and finished quite late... more
