So good we had our wedding here! I feel horrible for writing this review so late, so sorry Cecilia. I love this hotel, my wife loves the hotel, and everyone I know loves the hotel. I went in to have a chat with Cecilia about possibly having my wedding afters and all our guests stay there and we got such... more

Stayed here for 2 nights and I would rate this 3* for 1st night and 5* for 2nd. rate was not cheap even on late rooms, but the room we had for the 1st night was not good - on lower ground floor, very dark, stained carpet and bedspread, peeling wall paper. However staff were helpful though and moved us... more

My wife and I stayed at Butlers our first two nights in Ireland and our last night before we left. The facilities were top notch and the staff was courteous and professional and went out of their way to make us comfortable. We let them know ahead of time that we would be arriving early and our room was ready... more

Our extended family (grandparents and teenage children) took 7 rooms in the Butler Town House. Each room was very different and quite interesting. Our tour operator had warned us that this would not be up to standard with the other top hotels we had stayed at during our trip in Ireland, so we were nervous. We were very pleasantly surprised,... more

Reading the other reviews, it makes me think we hit the jackpot with the room where we stayed. It was in perfect condition, clean, updated bathroom, etc. The room was beautifully decorated but small (especially for Euro 129/night). The gorgeous queen sized bed took up most of the room, small desk, small TV and a mini-chair. But all beautifully appointed.... more

We have stayed in many Dublin hotels but I can safely say in terms of value and atmosphere this is one to which I would return. The staff were wonderful and attentive - nothing is too much trouble whether you wanted a coffee or a drink from the bar. The breakfast was great and arrived quickly - cooked to order... more

My wife and I have just completed two weeks touring Ireland. We stayed hear at the end of our trip - it was the most expensive place we stayed in, and I chose this accommodation believing it would be the perfect end to our holiday, we were totally let down. On arriving we were let in and the owner was... more

This is a pleasant small hotel. The staff is generally friendly. It is clean. Now, however, I must get to the disappointment that this hotel generally offers. It fronts out on a rather busy, noisy street. The lounge and lobby areas are worn and tired. Carpeting in several spots on the steps are worn down to the backing. The room... more
