We booked, knowing we were not at a top flight facility, and we were pleased with what we received. The special package included breakfasts - and they were average, a complimentary dinner - give it a 6 1/2 out of ten. The staff was warm and efficient. The location was quite good - we used the combi ticket for the... more

Stayed 3 nights in the Morrison hotel with my partner, and I have to say it was lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent bar, and beautiful room. Everything was lovely and well organised. Room service was prompt and food arrived piping hot. Only downside in relation to food was the restaurant itself. Had dinner on the first night of... more

Modern hotel, well equipped large rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent and service top class. Situated in the heart of Dublin, with easy access to O'Connell Street, and across the river to Temple Bar and Grafton Street. Would definately recommend this hotel, and if I go back to visit Dublin again, I would definately stay here. more

This hotel is definately not 4 star. It is shabby, dated and very worn. Check in was fine, staff were very plesant. Got out of the lift on our floor and we were met with mountains of bed linen, rubbish and trays with left overs from room service. We were checking in at 5:00pm so you would think that house... more

We stayed in the Morrision over Easter weekend this year. The hotel's website describes itself as 'probably the hippest & coolest luxury hotel in Dublin city centre' however it turned out to be quite bland. The staff were pleasant and friendly but the hotel itself was quite souless. Our room was spacious but uninteresting with simple wooden furnishing and the... more

Has completly lost its edge, Stayed here before and really liked it, stayed again recently and it has all changed for the worse. Restaurant was not the restaurant I remember. Rooms were shabby and needed to be redone. All the staff and management had changed and had lost the friendliness that I had remembered from my last stay 4 years... more

Myself and my wife are both from Dublin and chose the Morrison hotel in which to have our recent wedding reception. Many of our friends and family also stayed in the hotel. Rooms: The rooms were very well fitted out, with all mod cons and many extras (iPod docks, plasma TVs, iMacs etc.). Bathroom products were Molten Brown, which impressed... more

Helpful staff, quick and friendly; the room was a bit disappointing - lot's of "schnick-schnack", BUT the windows did not provide any sound insulation , the noise from outside was so bad -as if there were no windows at all. Horrible. The mattress was hard and had a huge hollow.... so the night was one of the" long knives" ...... more
