I stayed at the Gresham hotel for 6 days, as part of a trip to Ireland (a first for me, and a first time traveling by myself) The hotel is located in the center of town, a 7-10 min' walking distance from the main attractions. I got a beautiful room overlooking O'conall street. For me, what made the difference was... more

Stayed with friends for a duration for 3 nights. The twin room was small and very cold. The breakfast was ok but the dinner was lovely. Its in the center of the city and within walking distance of shops and bars. I found it over priced and not worth its 4 star. I would say 3 star. Its very basic... more

Stayed in Gresham for 1 night as we got a "Room only" deal of €89 which is very good value for the centre of Dublin. We were booked into our room efficiently by a friendly gentleman. The room was spacious and clean - it wasn't any more or any less what I expected it to be for the price. We... more

My wife and I stayed in the Gresham to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The room was clean, well appointed, airy and contained everything we could have needed for our stay. The hotel's location is great. Close enough to enjoy the delights of Dublin's nightlife, bars and restaurants. While the hotel was a delight what impressed us the most were... more

The Gresham was part of my childhood for afternoon tea so i had an opportunity to stay in Dublin for work which happens quite often and i thought I'd give the Gresham a go. I stay in a lot of hotels. Car parking is confusing and expensive i called ahead but was given the wrong info and ended up lugging... more

Alas the once stylish Gresham has become a real dissapointment. Poor facilities and services, at excessive prices. Breakfast was terrible- eggs the worst ever! no restaurant open only unapatising bar food, had the worst beef sandwich ever and @€7.50 + service, its not possible to cut beef tinner! they can't make tea! The budget hotel around the corner represents better,more... more

My sister and I stayed here last weekend when going to the Take That concert. We booked the hotel as a secret hotel through lastminute.com. The location suited us perfectly and the nearby parking was very handy. I was disapponted with the rooms. The hotel claims to be 4 star but at best the room we had was 3 star.... more

We loved this hotel. From the minute that you walk into the beautiful reception area, you feel welcome. Very friendly staff and spacious room. Centrally located right on O'Connel street and many of the us tours start from right outside the hotel. Also plenty of taxi's available on your doorstep. We will be in Dublin again in November and we've... more

Had a lovely time in Dublin for the weekend and staying at the Gresham made our trip even more special. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was great. The room we had was a prefect size for our needs. The hotel was so close to all the shops, within walking distance. Would definitely stay again when we... more

How this hotel has a four star rating I do not know. We stayed in a standard room with dated decor damaged paintwork and the only working item was the iron. The tv did not work and and as stated the door frames all sported damaged/chipped paintwork. The bathroom was basic with a shower/bath complete with delightful "tide mark". The... more
