We were looking for somewhere reasonably cheap in central Dublin for a couple of nights before we went home. Found The Leeson on a website that had last minute deals for €50 including breakfast. Checked reviews of similar properties and this was the pick of the bunch which doesn’t say much. Initial impressions okay with friendly receptionist but was a... more

We did not intend to spend much time at the hotel as we knew we would be out exploring Dublin and beyond. The hotel in is in a reasonable location. The room was extremely small and not really comfortable with only the very basics, but pretty clean. The bathroom lacked amenities like a plug for the sink and more than... more

If you are looking for a "home base" within walking distance of shopping, pubs and Temple Bar, clean, simple and inexpensive accommodations, this is it. We checked in during the rugby finals and while not overly loud, with our window right on to the street, it was distracting. The staff was very accommodating in moving us to another room. Both... more

Please do not be fooled by the glamorous and sophisticated website which gives the appearance of and I quite “a superb boutique Hotel”. The website designers have done a fantastic job of polishing you know what. Once pas the reception which in farness was hosted by a truly charming and very helpful young lady who could not do enough for... more

I have returned to Dublin for the 3rd time, this time with my gal pal, 2 nights and 3 full days. We spent our 2nd night here at The Leeson, which is near Stephens Green. I booked this off Late rooms and got a great price for the 2 of us with Breakfast (Didnt state on the website that it... more

stayed here mon to thurs. Hotel was very welcoming. Our room was small but suited perfectly as was out sightseeing most of the days. Hotel location is perfect for Dublin centre, 5 mins walk from St Stephens Green. Fairly quiet street, we were on main road at front but hardly any noise. Breakfast was continental style and was freshly set... more

This stay was not an enjoyable experience at all. The parking arrangements are poor and the layout of the parking area makes damage to vehicles a real possibility (my own car was very slightly damaged on a previous visit by some empty kegs being knocked against it by delivery men). The parking area is very cramped and beer kegs are... more

After reading some of the reviews from this hotel i was a bit worried at what i was going to get! But i got a totally different view of it!! We arrived at the hotel at 10pm, so we left our bags at reception for check in at 2pm. The receptionist offered us a breakfast straight away, (which we were... more

Firstly, they advised payment was on arrival then charged £100 to the card offered causing preventable bank charges they wouldn't refund. Be VERY careful of this. We were a party of nine and some had a room so small the bathroom door touched the sink and you couldn't even walk around the bed. Don't accept room 204! Breakfast is cornflakes... more

We stayed at this hotel due to its location being so central and were really pleased when we arrived, there is a small car park to the rear of the hotel where you can park and if no space is available there was parking close by in the side streets. The staff will take your keys and move your car... more
