I'm not sure if it was just my mattress or whether it was the way this hostel likes its guests to sleep, but I was roughing it very hard - the mattress was as firm as a slab of concrete! The shower and toilets were down a set of stairs too, which made for a bit of a walk whenever... more

Stayed here a last year and found it to be bright, fun and welcoming. The dorm was spacious and clean and each bed had its own locker. Late night arrivals can disturb, but its a busy hostel and was pretty full during our stay so this was to be expected. A good location for a tour round the city, and... more

This hostel pretty much does what it says on the tin. Stayed here for two nights and found the hostel exceptionally clean, well-staffed, easy to find and navigate to and from, and great value (compared to other places in Dublin). Overall, the hostel was pretty quiet, and though most of the guests were young people, there were also some families... more

Stayed here when visiting my mother in hospital. Very friendly staff, very secure entry to building and rooms. Very clean everywhere, self catering area very useful, nice areas to relax, good parking and outside seats. Close to city centre, great offers for the Dublin tours. Supply of essential items if you forget something. Great value. I will definately be back... more

Very friendly staff, a 24h-reception and nice, clean rooms. Only a short walk away from O'Connell Street with its shops and lots and lots of nightlife, yet quiet. Plus: the an oige main office is just around the corner. more

This is the first hostel I've stayed in. It's bright, rather big, and very very clean. We stayed in a room of 10 people. I slept through the late comers but my friend was disturbed by them. There are lockers in the rooms to store your stuff but a large suitcase will not fit. Average size will just fit. There... more

Compared to other youth hostels that I've stayed in this was probably the best. Room and bathroom were of a decent standard, good breakfast provided. They even provided currency exchange which was helpful, as well as Dublin tourist info stuff. Within 10 minutes walk of O'Connell Street but in a nice quiet location. Don't expect too much cos is a... more

I spent 3 nights with my boyfriend in this youth hotel in a double private room. Regarding the other youth Hostel where I've been - mainly in Spain- I was quite positively surprised. The double private rooms are simple but very practical. We had reasonable noise even if we had a room on the street side. The shared bathrooms are... more

Stayed for a couple of nights and enjoyed our time. The room was clean as was the bath / toilet. Staff were very friendly if not always the most knowledgable. Great security in the place and a good location. Parking was handy. more
