Our stay at O'Callaghan's, while not miserable, was definitely not the way to end our trip to Europe. The one plus I can give it is a good location very close to Trinity College and the National Library. However, the elevators were scary, the room was small. The toilet didn't work. And, the thing that really made me knock a... more

We spent one night and we were very comfortable. Large spacious room and bath. Very Quiet. Easy internet access. Great location to city center and the college. Very kind and attentive staff. Delicious breakfast! more

Overall, the stay at the Davenport was quite nice. The rooms were nice, roomy, and very clean. The bathrooms were clean and quite modern. The location was great - it was a short walk to anywhere you'd want to go! We loved walking to Grafton, Temple Bar, or St. Stephens Green. The only draw back to the stay was the... more

We spent four days in Dublin and the Davenport was a great place to stay. The hotel was clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was far enough from the center of town so that it was quiet and restful at night; yet it is close enough so that we could walk to Grafton St. or... more

This is a beautiful well maintained for it's age and the price is right. It is within walking distance of Trinity College and the Temple Bar area. The breakfast was great and the service was excellent. While we did not have dinner in the hotel, there were a couple of very nice restaurants a couple of blocks awy. The parking... more

The O'Callaghan was a decent midlevel hotel near the main sights of Dublin. Not too far from Trinity College, and the Temple Bar area. Our room was very nice, on the 6th floor with great views. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The front desk staff could be more friendly and did not offer suggestions when requested. more

Checked in to this beautiful City Centre Hotel and was shown very friendly and prompt service. I dont usually eat in the Hotel I stay in but this time I decided I would. They have a reasonably priced Bar Menu on offer and I have to say I am glad I decided to eat here because I have never had... more

I cannot say enough good things about the top notch staff at the Davenport. We encountered some issues (none the fault of the hotel) that the staff handled expertly, making us feel that we were in good hands. Indeed we were. We will return. We had a triple room that was quite large and very comfortable. The beds were very... more

This was our first trip to Dublin. We stayed at the Davenport for 2 nights in the beginning of our trip and 1 night at the end when we came back to Dublin. Our flight got in very early in the morning and while we weren't able to get an early checkin we were able to keep our luggage there... more

My husband, our 19-year-old son, and I spent five nights at the Davenport. We would definitely stay there again. The exterior is charming and grand and very old Dublin, but the rooms and services are up-to-date. My husband and I have been to Dublin several times; this is far and away the best of the hotels we've stayed in. THE... more
